I truly hope that you are all finding ways to "Tie a Knot and Hang On" during this very trying time!
I am hearing people say that they are walking "a lot", reading, meditating, watching movies and simply trying new and unusual things to stay sane.
We went to our camp this past weekend and I will tell you that getting "off of the grid" was helpful.
If you are looking for another way to "stay sane", you may ask:
How May I Serve?
Asking to serve is an ego filter....an allowance of the soul to shine at a brighter level!
When we are hurting emotionally/spiritually/soulfully and seem to be stuck inside of our misery, asking to serve can lead us through the dark tunnel to the light. This does not mean that the pain we are feeling is not real or we do not deserve to feel sad about whatever the situation may be. However, providing service can give strength to begin to move through the pain and lift our spirits.
When we are feeling happy and fulfilled, asking to serve can continue to boost the endorphins and allow us to share our gifts and blessings.
There is magic in serving!
A message is sent to the heavens as someone receives the act of service. At some point later in life, we may receive something without even asking. This relates to the "pay it forward" concept. Although we did not set out to receive when we were in the process of giving, the universe takes notice and returns the favor.
The circle of giving and receiving is quite intriguing. As we decide to join the circle, we realize that service provides a sense of fulfillment, happiness and peace that gives us a boost and calms our own pain.
In this time of isolation, it may seem difficult to find a way to serve. There are plenty of opportunities and they will find you if simply begin asking:
How May I Serve?
Yours in service,
Dr Lorri
BTW....If you just asked "How May I Serve":
The Gilch family, who lost Dayanna, her doggie and their home in a fire a few weeks ago is looking for a house to rent. If you know of an available property, please reach out to me with the information.
Also, if you would like to donate to the family:
http://www.gilchfamilyfirefund.com or you can give at any PNC Bank to The Gilch Family Fire Fund.
If you are making masks, please let us know. People are calling asking if they can buy masks from us, but we do not have a stock.
