​Affinity

Creating affinity in a world where divisiveness tends to prevail is a lost art.  If a situation occurs where there is an apparent division,  affinity can be enhanced by calmly asking questions and intently listening to answers to allow for greater understanding between all parties.  As the conversation continues, more questions may be necessary to continue to increase the level of understanding.  It is important to realize that the questions cannot be leading or judgmental.  And it is even more important to listen to the answers without judgement.  True attempts at understanding with lack of judgement will always improve affinity !
